The team—Jonas Bens, Christian Mader, Philip Atta Mensah, Bille Sachers, and Arjunraj Shakeela Natarajan—examined sources that shed light on the planning, construction, and use of the fort. This allows us to complement the ethnographic and photogrammetric data from Ghana with a historical perspective.
